Who We Counsel

We offer our counseling services to anyone seeking to grow and heal emotionally and spiritually. Pastor Tom's professional counseling techniques incorporate biblical, Christian principles, though there are no requirements for individuals to be affiliated with our church or any other church in order to schedule an appointment with us.

Counseling Focuses

Appointments can be made to address different issues such as: Alcoholism, Anxiety and Depression, Child/Physical Abuse/Neglect, Crisis/Critical Incidents, Drug Addiction, Domestic Violence, Gender Identity Issues, Infidelity, Marriage, Pornography, Prison/Probation, Sexual Abuse, and Substance Abuse. Appointments & Location

Initial consultation appointments last around 1-2 hours with future sessions lasting about an hour long for couples and individuals. Appointments can be made weekly or bi-weekly as needed. Our church is located at 3114 Memorial Ave in Lynchburg. Counseling appointments are held with Pastor Tom in our church office, which is the room to the right inside our building as you enter the church. Long distance appointments are also available by scheduling a video call for a virtual session.


Cost & Insurance

Insurance policies vary but most plans do offer mental health benefits. Session amounts that are not covered by insurance will be the responsibility of the client. Session fees must be paid at the time of the visit by cash or credit with our counseling coordinator.
